MANILA— Bea Alonzo is overwhelmed with happiness now that she has signed the contract with GMA Network.
The 33-year-old actress said she has mixed emotions but very positive with the new chapter in her life.
She stated, “Sa totoo lang, masayang-masaya ako. Hindi ko maipaliwanag ang feeling.
“Para ang tagal ko nang hindi ulit ‘to nararamdaman, this type of… parang may uncertainty.
“But it’s a good time of uncertainty. Yung parang it’s a very, very good challenge… para sa akin. Parang mananatili ito hanggang pagtulog ko ngayong gabi.”
Be was speaking live using the GMA Network Instagram account this July 1, Thursday evening.
Bea signed the contract with GMA Network in the morning of July 1st, together with GMA executives at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel followed by online interviews by the entertainment press.
Bea said that this day has been productive.
“I had a lot of fun. When it was just starting, sobra akong kaba, sobra akong kabado, sobra akong excited.
“Parang lahat-lahat ng emosyon nilagay mo na sa iisang tao, at ako yun.”
But at the end of the day, her nervousness was replaced with excitement.
“Change is always terrifying, di ba? Change is scary but it can also lead us to a place where we can grow, where we can learn.”
Bea continues, “Parang may rebirth of some sorts. Parang there is another side of me that was born.”
The actress feels that she is guided today.
“To be honest, para rin akong guided today throughout this whole journey. I feel His presence.
“Parang everything is falling into place para sa akin.
“And gusto ko lang i-share the excitement that I feel right now—both excitement and calm. Parang there is a sense of pagiging calm today.”
Bea mentioned that many of her former colleagues sent messages of congratulations.
“I have been getting messages from friends, from colleagues ko before. And I have been getting a lot of words of encouragement, so thank you.”
She is grateful to her loyal and real supporters who did not leave her.
“Thank you dahil sinusuportahan niyo ako dito sa bagong yugto ng buhay ko, bagong chapter.
“We are flipping the book and we are here sa bagong chapter ng buhay ko—both exciting and scary.
“Pero, di ba, mas masarap na may nararamdaman na ganun because it makes you feel alive.
“So, I feel alive now.”
