Yam Concepcion and fiancé Miguel CuUnjieng to tie the knot this end of July

MANILA—Kapamilya actress who recently revealed her engagement to her long-time now-showbiz boyfriend Miguel CuUnjieng is set to wed this end of July.

In an exclusive interview with Yam by MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, the actress stated that she is now trying to fix the details of their future intimate wedding which will be held in New York.

She said, “Since nandito tayo sa US ikaw lahat magpa-plan nun.

“Wala akong tagatulong in planning all these things.

“Hindi naman siya grand celebration, we just want it very simple and very intimate.

“Ako lahat. Stressful pala siya talaga.”

Yam has been in New York for two months and she is also busy decorating their apartment.

She added, “I’ve been loving New York so far, two months na ako dito and what I celebrate the most is the time that I spend with Miguel.

“Kasi six years din kaming LDR, finally we get to enjoy time together, extended time together.”

Yam and her US-based boyfriend have been engaged since December 31, 2018. Miguel proposed to Yam in Japan.

Yam said on her engagement post on June 22, 2021, “A thousand cranes YES (ring emoji) @mrcuu 12.31.18 11:59pm #747.”

Her fiancé also posted on his Instagram account, “Now that my better half @yamconcepcion has made the call, time for me to join in the long-delayed celebration.

“I’ll start with just how hard it was to keep this a secret for so long – I’ve wanted few things more than to be able to yell this as loud as I can using every means I have!”

He further said, “I asked her twice for good measure. You are my only wish, and if granted two wishes you are also my second.

“I’ve loved you more each day since this magical one in Niseko, and I promise to give you my 100% for our forever to go.

“I thank the universe everyday you said yes, and will never know how I got so lucky.”
