MANILA — Data from Speedtest.net, also known as Speedtest by Ookla, shows how the Philippines’ internet access has improved over a period of one year.
From being in the 10th position last year, the country’s internet speed service has jumped to the 5th position with an average speed of 32.84Mbps from a previous 16.17 Mbps mark.
Speed test by Ookla is a web service that provides free analysis of Internet access performance metrics, such as connection data rate and latency.
Ookla, a web testing and network diagnostics company was founded in 2006 and based in Seattle, Washington, United States. (ai/mtvn)
