MANILA — Two police officers landed in the Philippine National Police’s Good Deeds Department as they gave immediate assistance to an epilepsy patient in Bauang, La Union.
Patrolmen Jeremiah Boy Flores and Marvin Manandeg, both rookie cops of the Bauang police, immediately responded when they saw a man suffering from an epilepsy attack.
The man, identified as John Rey, fell to the ground and sustained a wound on his head as a result of his sudden fall.
The cops provided first aid treatment to John Rey and they immediately brought him to the nearest hospital for proper medical treatment through the help of other police officers.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar lauded the police officer for their prompt action in helping the man with epilepsy.
