MANNILA — In preparation for the next academic year, police personnel in Gregorio del Pilar, Ilocos Sur helped prepare the children through the “Brigada Pabasa” program.

The project was initiated by police personnel from Gregorio del Pilar Municipal Police Station, in coordination with officials from the Alfonso Elementary School.

It aims to assist communities in preparing the children for the next school year, teaching them the importance of education. In this program, cops help in improving the child’s literacy.

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar said the project only shows the police’s willingness to help children in attaining good education.
