MANILA — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar ordered on Saturday, September 11, a thorough investigation into the killing of two police anti-narcotics operatives in Cabanatuan City.
The two policemen were identified as Police Staff Sgt. Allan Capinpin, 43; and, Police Staff Sgt. Aries Dichoso, 39. The two policemen were assigned to the Cabanatuan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
The two policemen were repeatedly shot by two motorcycle-riding men inside the house of PSSgt. Capinpin in Barangay Magsaysay Norte in Cabanatuan City at 10:10 p.m. on Friday, September 10.
“I already ordered the RD, PRO3 to conduct a thorough investigation of this incident which resulted in the death of our two personnel. Part of the investigation is to determine the motive and the immediate identification of all people behind this,” said PGen Eleazar.
“On behalf of the men and women of the PNP, ipinapa-abot ko ang aking pakikiramay sa mga naulila nina Police Staff Sergeants Allan Capinpin at Aries Dichoso. Makakaasa ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay ng aming aksyon para mabigyan sila ng hustisya,” he added.
The two perpetrators fled after the incident and are now the subject of follow-up operation and investigation by the local police. (ai/mtvn)
