Philippine Navy brings relief goods to Basco, Batanes typhoon Kiko victims

Basco, Batanes – The Philippine Navy Ship BRP (Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas) Dagupan City LC551 yesterday arrived at the Port of Basco, Batanes carrying the donations from both public and private agencies to be distributed to families of the province heavily affected Typhoon “Kiko”.

The provincial government of Batanes extends its sincere gratitude to all the generous donors for the care and love for the typhoon-battered People of Batanes.

“Diyos Mamahes to the whole management and crew of BRP Dagupan City!”, Governor Marilou H. Cayco wholeheartedly stated.

“Our sincere thanks to everyone who extended their time and assistance in the unloading especially the Philippine Marines MBLT-10 headed by 2LT Jefferson Salazar, reservists, CAFGUs, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, Batanes Tour Guides Association, MJ Marie Construction, Batanes Merchant Services Cooperative, PEO personnel, PDRRMO, PWSDO and everyone who helped us today. Diyos Mamahes Dinyu Atavo!”

“In God’s blessing and perfect time, we will rise again,” Cayco assured residents of the province. (ai/mtvn)
