MANILA — Two police officers donated blood to a child confined at a hospital in Baler, Aurora.
Police Corporal Carlomar Donato and Patrolman Paul Kevin Aragon, personnel of the Baler Municipal Police Station, were securing the delivery and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines at the Aurora Memorial Hospital in Barangay Reserva when a woman approached them asking for their help in finding blood donors for her child.
Seeing that it was a life and death situation, the policemen immediately donated their blood for the child.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar lauded the cops for helping out the patient.
