MANILA — A “Mobile Aralan” was initiated by police personnel in Baler, Aurora to enable children in the area to continue their education amid the COVID-19 pandemic which put a stop to face-to-face classes.
Personnel from the Baler Municipal Police Station roamed around Purok 7 in Sitio Sta. Monica, Barangay Pingit to teach basic literacy to children residing in the area.
Aside from the local police, barangay officials and other stakeholders also took part in the initiative.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar lauded the cops for giving attention and importance to the education of the children amid the health crisis.
