Philippine National Police Deputy Chief for Administration, Police Lieutenant General Joselito Vera Cruz led the blessing and inauguration of a new PNP Multi-purpose building and quarters for rank officers, on Friday morning at Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
The said event was also graced by the Department of Public Works and Highways Acting Secretary Roger G. Mercado and other PNP officers.
The new PNP building was in line with the facility development program of the PNP as one of its mission of building a decent and state-of-the-art establishment for its personnel as well as its clientele.
This building will serve as transient quarters for Police Commissioned Officers assigned in the National Headquarters.
“This project was initially started last 2016 but we were not able to secure a fund from DPWH to pursue it, but on 2017, DPWH included the PNPs Multi-purpose building amounting to Php298-million with its 2018 department budget”, Vera Cruz stated.
Vera Cruz added that the PNP is very grateful to the DWPH for their generosity and help to fulfill this project and boost the morale of every PNP personnel.
The new building is located at the PNP Training Service compound, Gen. Castañeda Ave., Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
