MANILA – Senator Grace Poe on Wednesday urged the government to give
free vaccines to all job seekers to help them get back to work and
help also rebound the economy.

In her statement, Poe said that protecting the health and welfare of
the people must encompass all, including those seeking jobs who are
still unvaccinated.

“They should not be spurned, instead, should be offered a helping
hand,” she said.

With this, Poe urged the government to initiate a mechanisms to be in
place for efficient coordination between companies and local
government units and allow our people seeking work to get access to
the free vaccines.

“In our inoculation campaign, the government should be unflinching in
turning misinformation to a truthful message, fear to faith, concern to
confidence,” she said.

“Giving our people both the jabs and the jobs is fundamentally all
about saving lives and livelihood that we need to rise from the
pandemic,” she added. (ai/mtvn)
