Workers denied of 13th-month pay storm DOLE with X’mas carols, jingles

Labor groups including construction workers who were denied receiving their 13th-month pay this Christmas stormed the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Thursday (16 December 2021) in a nice way as they sing and sang Christmas Carols and jingles while pressing their right to wages, benefits, and job security.

This was all made invoking the spirit of Christmas but what brought the house down was a jingle sung to the tune of “Boom Barat Barat” referencing their lawful 13th-month pay denied them by their employers.
