Surigao City – The Department of Transportation (DOTr), through the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), has already dispatched and delivered, and turned over a total of 382 boxes of relief goods and supplies to the provincial government of Surigao Del Norte.

The donations include sacks of rice, cup noodles, packs of canned goods, packs of bottled water, assorted drinks including juice and milk, toiletries, hygiene kits, baby essentials, used clothes, at assorted shoes.

DOTr Undersecretary for Administrative Service Artemio Tuazon Jr. led the turn-over and delivery.

Through this donation drive. DOTr emphasized and reminded everyone of the true meaning of Christmas – the spirit of giving and caring for everyone, especially in the midst of calamity. (ai/mtvn)
