MANILA — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Dionardo Carlos formally inducted five Star Rank police officials on Monday (03 January 2022).
Promoted to 3-star rank was Police Lieutenant General Rhodel O Sermonia — The Chief of Directorial Staff (TCDS).
Meanwhile, Police Major General Michael John Dubria, Chief Directorate for Intelligence (DI) was promoted to 2-star rank, while Police Brigadier General Joel B Doria, Commandant of Cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy, Police Brigadier General Edgar Alan O Okubo, Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA) Police Regional Office 11, and Police Brigadier General Alden B Delvo, Ex-O, TDI were promoted to the one-star rank.
“Let this promotion to your new rank take you to a new and wider opportunity to better serve our country and people with utmost pride, honor, and dignity”, PGen Carlos said.
“Bilang isang respetadong heneral at pinuno ng ating Pamabansang Pulisiya ay inaasahan ko ang inyong pagiging aktibo para isakatuparan ng maayos, tapat at may puso ang ating pamumuno at pagserserbisyo para sa kapayapaan ng ating bansa”, said PNP Chief Carlos.
Likewise, in a separate activity on Monday afternoon, PLtGen Rhodel O Sermonia, The Chief of Directorial Staff led the turnover of One Million worth of relief goods for the victims of Typhoon Odette in Siargao, Surigao del Norte during the ceremony held at the PNP National Headquarters.
On behalf of PGen Carlos, PLtGen Sermonia gave his sincerest gratitude for the generosity of various stakeholders, particularly Makati Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Philippine Public Safety College/National Police College, and Philippine National Police Academy TAGAPAMAGITAN Class of 2013.
The donated goods include 1000 pieces of the relief package. Every package contains 5 kilos of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, 1 box of face masks, 2 pieces of alcohol, 6 kilos of drinking water. (ai/mtvn)
