MANILA — Tagaytay City will remain open to tourists after the COVID-19 Alert Level 3 has been raised in Metro Manila due to rising cases of corona virus in the region.
According to Jarryd Bello, head of Tagaytay City tourism office, Metro Manila residents can still enter the city because Cavite City is on Alert Level 2.
However, Bello is appealing to the Metro Manila authorities to be strict in the implementation and monitoring of the minimum health protocols in NCR.
He said that they are also implementing strict protocols in Tagaytay City.
“Tulungan namanpo ito ng bawat cities eh,” ani Bello. “If may I suggest, kung makakausap natin ‘yung mga taga-Metro Manila, stay put. Sundin po natin ang ating guidelines.“
Metro Manila mayors recently agreed to limit the unvaccinated individuals in going out amid the rising cases of COVID-19 following reports that many have been sick after the holiday season.
