Black Nazarene calendar printers make a ‘killing’ in QC

Calendar makers along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City are making a killing, super busy printing family names on them with the image of the Black Nazarene as a backdrop. Printing orders are hectically driven by the coming Black Nazarene religious festival on January 9.

The festival is punctuated by the annual Traslacion of the Black Nazarene held every 9th day of January but with the steep rise in Covid cases in Metro Manila health officials ordered devotees and the Quiapo church from holding it this year.
