Fire hits Starmall in Alabang

MANILA — A fire struck Starmall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City around 4 a.m. Saturday (08 January 2022).

Firemen said the fire reached the second alarm at 4:15 a.m., the third alarm at 4:49 a.m., and the fifth alarm at 7:13 a.m before peaking at Task Force Alpha at exactly 7:46 a.m.

As of 12:03 p.m., the fire was still at Task Force Alpha, a stage where at least 16 firetrucks already responded to the situation.

A radio report said fire volunteers and personnel of a water concessionary also helped firefighters put out the fire at the five-level building right in front of the Alabang viaduct in Muntinlupa.

It was not immediately known what time a fire out was declared up to this posting.
