Black Nazarene icon vendors find St. Peter Parish a good alternative to Quiapo Church to display their wares

Because they could not display and sell them in Quiapo, Manila in time for the feast of the Black Nazarene as the public is forbidden to come near the vicinity of the Quiapo Church, vendors found the St. Peter Parish along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City a good alternative.

Here, devotees can freely choose what image and size of the Black Nazarene they can buy as they are all on display near the facade of the St. Peter Parish.

The Feast of the Black Nazarene is observed annually by hundreds of thousands of devotees punctuated by the Traslacion 9th of January each year. Owing to the spike in Covid cases, however health authorities and officials of Quiapo church canceled the activity.
