TUGUEGARAO City, Cagayan — Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) Chief Dr. Glenn Matthew Baggao, today disclosed the plan that will make CVMC the “Mega Hospital” for the entire Luzon.
Baggao said that the hospital’s development, especially in infrastructure will continue including the establishment of the trauma center which will start this month, and the communicable disease building which will be completed also this month.
“Madadagdagan rin ang kagamitan at tauhan ng ospital na syang mangangasiwa sa mga bagong serbisyo na maidaragdag upang mapabuti pa ang serbisyo sa mga tao,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 patients at CVMC are now at 138 with 97 confirmed cases and 41 are suspected patients.
A total of 49 CVMC staff have been confirmed as positive.
“Nagdagdag na rin ng mga tents at hospital beds at plano na ring ibalik ang step-down facility para sa mga pasyenteng gumagaling na upang magkaroon ng bakanteng kama para sa mga severe at critical na pasyente.”
Baggao added that Out Patient Department (OPD) services have been suspended for the meantime and they are currently conducting Teleconsult medicine. (ai/mtvn)
