MANILA — The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) East Makati City or Revenue District Office No. 47, headed by its Revenue District Officer Rufo B. Ranario, emerged tops in collections in December 2021.
MaharlikaTV obtained a copy of the consolidated collection report from BIR Revenue Region 8-A Makati City Collection Division for the period of December 1-31, 2021 showed they exceeded their tax goal and collections before the year ended.
“I would like to present our performance for the month of December 2021 and we’re good, we have an increase in our collections,” Ranario said.
Ranario said, RDO 47 collected P2,905,916,528.79 surpassing its P1,994,741,000 revenue target by 45.68% or an access of P911,173,528.79
The December tax collection of RDO 47 was also 55.56% higher than the P1,868,006,663.16 collected in December 2020.
The data also shows that BIR RDO 47 has 20.48% growth rate, as their December 2021 actual collections goal was P4,873,397,054.15 higher than the December 2020 collection.
In their cumulative collection, the RD0 47 exceeds 11.62 % as they collected P28,674,513,076.85 for the period of January to December 2021 higher than their tax goal of P25,690,248,000.
“Tax collections started picking up in the third quarter of 2021, as economic activity increased and lockdowns were eased,” Ranario said.
