MANILA – Indefatigable and dynamic Assistant Secretary Ameenah Abcede Fajardo has been promoted as Undersecretary of the Department of Trade and Industry.

Her appointment/promotion was made official through a letter from Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea to Sec. Ramon Lopez dated March 04, 2022, but only made public last Tuesday, 08 March 2022.

“I am pleased to transmit the appointment letter of Ms. Ameenah Abcede Fajardo, signed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte, as Undersecretary, Department of Trade and Industry,” Medialdea’s letter said.

“Kindly notify and furnish the appointee with her appointment letter within seven days from receipt hereof” ES Medialdea.”

Assec Ameenah Fajardo’s appointment letter as the agency’s newest Undersecretary was transmitted and received by the agency March 4, 2022.

Messages of congratulations on her appointment and promotion poured in for Assec Ameenah Fajardo who maintains a daily live stream on social media entertaining and accepting queries and complaints from entrepreneurs nationwide while giving them professional advice.

Foremost of Assec Ameenah’s well-wishers was no other than her husband in former OFW Party-list Representative Omar Fajardo who is gunning for a congressional set in the coming elections in Rizal Province’s newly-formed Second District.

He was the first to congratulate his wife with a post on his official Facebook account.

“Alf MABROOQH (A thousand Congratulations) my energetic wife Ameenah for your promotion as UNDERSECRETARY of DTI. Keep up the GOOD WORKS !!!,” Fajardo said.

He also expressed his gratitude to President Duterte, Senator Bong Go, and DTI Secretary Mon Lopez.

“SPECIAL thanks to Pres Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Sen. Bong Go , likewise to Sec Mon Lopez MABUHAY PO KAYO!!!” Fajardo said.

The new Second District of Rizal now includes seven towns namely (1) Baras, (2) Cardona, (3) Jala-Jala, (4) Morong, (5) Pililla, (6) Tanay, and (7) Teresa. (ai/mtvn)
