MANILA — Inihayag ni senatorial aspirant Atty. Larry Gadon na tila nananaginip ang kampo ni Vice President Leni Robredo nang sabihin nito na sina presidential aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., at Robredo ang “dikit” at natitirang magkalaban sa pagka-pangulo.
Ito ang reaksyon ni Gadon sa pahayag ni Atty. Barry Gutierrez, tagapagsalita ni Robredo, na “2022 is now clearly a Robredo versus Marcos contest.”
“How in the world can you say that somebody who is tailing the leader in the pack by overwhelming numbers could be in a position to challenge, much less be in a so-called showdown. That’s simply preposterous. He must be in another world,” ani Gadon.
Matatandaan na nagpalabas ng pinakabagong survey ang Pulse Asia at nananatiling lamang ng malaki si Marcos na nakakuha ng 53 percent voters’ preference habang nasa malayong pangalawa pa rin si Robredo na mayroon lamang 20 percent.
Giit ng abogado, na kilalang masugid na taga-suporta ni Marcos, dalawang beses na mas mataas ang bilang ni Marcos kaya mali na sabihin ng kampo ni Robredo na malaki ang tsansa ng mga ito.
“Unbridled and unfounded optimism is baseless at the very least and Utopic at the most,” dagdag ni Gadon.
Mas tama raw na sabihin na ang mahigpit na maglalaban ay si Robredo at Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, ngunit hindi sa unang pwesto.
“Pulse Asia’s survey clearly laid down numbers that Isko’s eight percent needs only 12 percent to catch Leni’s 20 percent for the 2nd place. They are the ones slugging it out for the second spot and BBM is comfortably ahead by a wide, wild margin,” giit ni Gadon.
Dagdag pa ni Gadon, bukod sa Pulse Asia komportableng nangunguna at lamang ng malaki si Marcos sa lahat ng survey kabilang ang SWS, Publicus, Kalye-Survey, DZRH, at RMN.
“When did it ever happen that someone who is tugging the coattails of the leading candidate with a double-figure deficit is being branded as a contender? Gutierrez must have been drinking in Shangrila to even think of it. Ano ito perde gana?” ani Gadon. (ai/mtvn)
