Joma’s endorsement of Leni seen to benefit Reds hugely — NTF-ELCAC

MANILA — The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) on Monday said Jose Ma. Sison’s endorsement of Leni Robredo would be beneficial to her but there is great likelihood that the terrorist Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army would reap more dividends from the unholy alliance than her.

“There can be no endorsement without concessions. In other words, (the) tactical alliance with these communist terrorists is mutually beneficial to both of them. The mere fact that no less than the founder of this terrorist organization, Joma Sison, tweeted his official endorsement of her is proof positive that this marriage made in the bowels of hell has been consummated,” Ma. Lorraine Badoy, NTF-ELCAC spokesperson, said.

Badoy said Sison’s support for Robredo, coupled with the endorsement of the Makabayan Bloc, the political machinery of the terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF, was done “with the express goal of gaining political power.”

Robredo, however, has repeatedly denied that she had formed a tactical alliance with the Communists, which is aimed at power sharing power in the form of a coalition government if she wins the elections.

But Badoy would not hear anything of it, citing validated intelligence reports that there were sightings of cadres and Leftist personalities in her rallies and sorties.

“This is why she shares the stage with CPP-NPA-NDF operative Neri Colmenares and operatives of the CPP were spotted during her campaign sortie in Cavite — former Kabataan Rep. Mong Palatino, now head of the CPP Regional Party Committee, Obet de Castro, CPP National United Front Committee, and Axel Pinpin of the Regional Urban Party Committee,” she said.

Badoy also revealed that those responsible for the “hakot” crowd in Robredo’s rallies were mobilized by CPP fronts–GABRIELA, KADAMAY, ANAKBAYAN, ANAKPAWIS, which was part of the concessions with the terrorist group.

“This is why the VP has been a virtual mouthpiece of the terrorist group these past years. She has also repeatedly used the term “red-tagging,” a tool the CPP uses to silence those who speak the truth about their fronts,” she said.

In the end, Badoy challenged Robredo to publicly denounce the CPP-NPA-NDF, “because otherwise we will rightfully conclude that she is not worthy of our trust and that she values the few votes the CPP-NPA-NDF claims they can give her far more than our lives and the lives of our children and the destiny of our country.” (AI/MTVN)
