DAGUPAN City — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recorded the highest heat index in Dagupan City yesterday at 2 PM with a temperature of 53 degrees Celsius.
“This is the warmest temperature ever recorded this year,” PAG-ASA stressed.
It is 2 degrees Celsius higher than the 51 degrees Celsius recorded last March 6, 2022.
Residents are advised to stay indoors between 10 AM-3 PM to avoid getting sunburn or heat stroke.
Likewise, everyone must wear light colored-clothing to reflect the heat from the sun. (ai/mtvn)
