PINOYS IN CANADA ARE SOLID BBM!

MANILA — Even Filipinos in Canada are displaying solid support for the candidacy of presidential frontrunner Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. after he emerged as the number one preferred bet among Pinoys in a social media survey that started on Friday and is still ongoing as of press time.

In the question of the Filipino Portal: ‘Survey! Sino ang iboboto ng mga nasa Canada?’, Marcos immediately emerged as the runaway winner.

Those who favor Marcos need to choose the heart emoticon, while those who like Leni Robredo will use the wow emoji.

After three days of the online survey, ‘likers’ have reached 4,500 respondents.

Marcos got 3,700 heart emojis or 82.22%; while Leni has only 567 wow emojis or 12.6%.

Of the total 4,500 reactions, 161 of them chose the like emoji, 18 chose ‘hahaha’ or laughing emoji; three gave sad reactions and four chose care emoji.

Even in the commentary sections, majority have expressed their reasons why they prefer Marcos over his rival.

According to Chellie Liwanag: “BBM Kasi kahit bata pa ako nun naalala ko pa din na safe at peaceful ang lugar. May Philippine constabulary (PC) bawat barrio kahit maliit man na baryo. I will be loyal BBM forever.

“BBM.

BBM tayo!” said Lida Espanol.

It will be recalled that Filipinos in London, Italy and Japan also previously conducted various activities including motorcades in their respective areas to show their support for Marcos’ candidacy.

In other countries around the world where there are thousands of OFWs, Marcos is also the favorite among Pinoy migrant workers who are hoping that his unifying leadership would help them and their families out of poverty and misery. (ai/mtvn)
