PIAT, Cagayan – The provincial government of Cagayan led by Governor Manuel N. Mamba has turned over two patrol cars worth P2 million, one patient transport vehicle for the rural health unit (RHU), and an ultra-low freezer for the town of Piat in Cagayan.
Governor Mamba said that the patrol cars will be used to monitor the safety and security of the town.
Meanwhile, the ultra-low freezer will be used for the storage of Covid vaccines.
The Oplan Tulong sa Barangay team has also distributed honoraria and financial assistance worth P8,745,800 to selected residents of the town.
The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist conducted “Magsakabataan” program chicken buy-back program among the 18 barangays while the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office distributed one portable water purifier and jetmatic pump to purok presidents.
Mamba said the funds downloaded to the town of Piat came from the “No Barangay/No Town Left Behind Program.” The local government unit of Piat was the fourth beneficiary in the province under the 2022 NBLB 2022 fund. (ai/mtvn)
