MANILA — Department of Health-Ilocos Region Regional Director Paula Paz M. Sydiongco today reminded residents to get their booster shots and encouraged those who have not completed their doses to visit vax sites during the Lenten holidays to complete their vaccination as protection against the Covid virus.
“We are still in a state of the pandemic that is why we have to be cautious about our health including that of our family. Let us enjoy our vacation with our loved ones and avoid social gatherings with anyone outside your household. Small gatherings are safer and also participating in a virtual religious service is the safest way to worship this year.”
“Let us continue to be vigilant and follow safety measures like wearing of mask, social distancing and proper hygiene.
As of April 13, 2022, there are now a total of 7,561,421 (80.7%) doses administered with 3,810 (88.2%) individuals with at least 1 dose, 3,484,351 fully vaccinated (80.7%) and 695,178 (24.53%) have received their booster doses.
