Celeste Cortesi proves manifesting the Miss Universe Philippines crown is real

MANILA—If anyone can prove that manifesting is real and that it works, it’s newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.

On her Instagram stories Sunday, the beauty queen reshared a fun fact with a photo of herself talking to the La Mer en Majeste crown.

“When the ladies saw the new crown for the first time, Celeste whispered on it, manifesting her dream of becoming Miss Universe,” the post read.

Meanwhile, a GMA News reporter Shai Lagarde said she dug up an old tweet from 2020 from Celeste that only read “5th MU Crown from the PH.” Could that be her manifesting something bigger, too? In any case, before getting to the 5th Miss Universe crown for the Philippines, she’s got to represent the Philippines first.

And now she’s here.

Celeste was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 during the coronation night at SM Mall of Asia Arena Saturday.

Miss Makati Michelle Dee was hailed Miss Universe Philippines Tourism, while Miss Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx became Miss Universe Philippines Charity.

Miss Misamis Oriental Annabelle McDonnell was declared 1st runner-up while Miss Taguig Katrina Llegado, the 2nd runner-up.
