MANILA — A possible storm may ram the islands of Romblon as the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pag-asa) said that the weather disturbance was spotted past 3 a.m. Monday some 60 kilometers west of Romblon, Romblon.
The weather agency said it is closely monitoring a low-pressure area (LPA) in Romblon that has dumped rain in MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan).
Pag-asa added that cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over MIMAROPA in the next 24 hours.
It said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. (ai/mtvn)
