Justin Bieber cancels ‘Justice Concert Tour’ due to facial paralysis

CANADA—The 28-year old Canadian singer Justin Bieber is appealing to all his fans, “Keep me in your prayers.”

Justin revealed that he has cancelled all his concerts because he is suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, an acute peripheral facial neuropathy which is complicated with shingles brought by facial paralysis and loss of hearing.

While Justin previously confirmed to bring “Justice to Manila,”  this will no longer be possible. The pop superstar announced through a video message on his official social media accounts,  “Hey everyone, Justin here, I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on.

“Obviously, as you can probably see with my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.

“Can’t believe I’m saying this. I’ve done everything to get better but my sickness is getting worse.

“My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctors orders.) To all my people I love you so much and I’m gonna rest and get better.”

Justin pointed to the left side of his face and his left eye that could not blink due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

He expressed,  “So there is full paralysis on this side my face.

“So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically, obviously not capable of doing them. This is pretty serious as you can see.

“I wish this wasn’t the case but obviously my body is telling me that I’ve got to slow down and I hope you guys understand.

“I will be using this time to rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so that I can do what I was born to do.”

Justin’s health condition will cause the cancellation of his Justice World Tour to other countries.

He is set to bring the Justice World Tour to the Philippines on October 29, 2022 to be held at the CCP Open Grounds in Pasay City. The ticket selling already started on May 30.

His fans are all waiting for the official announcement of his  Philippines promoter if there will be changes in the concert  that will happen because of his  physical condition.
