MANILA — A Western Visayas anti-illegal drug operation yielded over P2.3 million worth of shabu which led to the arrest of another high-value drug suspect recently.

RYAN ACE PENDON JALLORINA a.k.a. “Cas”, 41, was arrested at around 11:55 PM at Montero Village, Barangay Igang, Pototan, Iloilo by an operating unit from Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RPDEU 6).

Police operatives confiscated from the suspect 49 sachets and two knot-tied plastic bags containing suspected shabu weighing a least 350 grams with an estimated standard drug price of P2,380,000.00, the buy-bust money, two sling bags, one pack of empty plastic sachets, one digital weighing scale, one disposable lighter, and one cellphone.

“Another job well done for our Western Visayas drug enforcement operatives. Let us keep our momentum going as we intensify our campaign against illegal drugs all over the country,” PLTGen Danao said.

Jallorina is presently in the custody of authorities and a case for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him. (ai/mtvn)
