PUERTO Princesa City – Zero Plastic advocate named “Bee”, is now introducing “CassaBags” in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The extraordinary bag is made of cassava, a local root crop, and it can be dissolved in hot water in just about two minutes. The liquified plastic can also be used to water plants.
According to Bee entrepreneur and zero plastic advocate Xian Sing Ang, the “CassaBags” is a sustainable alternative for plastics which are considered hazardous to the environment. “Ang layunin po namin ay maabot ang “Net Zero Emissions by 2050.”
