CEBU CITY — At long last, Mayor Mike Rama has finally fulfilled his dream to be elected as president of the influential League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP).
City Hall legislative consultant Chito Aragon broke the news on Thursday, July 21, through his Facebook post.
As early as 2013, Rama had been eyeing the LCP presidency but for one reason or another did not make it.
Considered to be very influential, the LCP is a formal organization of all cities in the Philippines.
As of September 7, 2019, there are 146 cities that are part of the organization. (ai/mtvn)
