MANILA — Just like hitting two birds with one stone, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said there will be no more lockdowns to recover the economy that was crippled due to the pandemic as he assured that medical services should be accessible throughout the archipelago.
“Wala na tayong gagawing lockdown. Dapat natin balansehin ng maayos ang kalusugan…at ang ekonomiya,” the President said.
He also apparently noted the difficulties of getting medical services outside the National Capital Region.
“We must bring medical services to the people and not wait for them to come to our hospitals and healthcare centers,” the President said.
He stressed: “Maliwanag na hindi lamang dapat dito sa National Capital Region kundi maging sa ibang parte ng bansa kailangan magdagdag ng ganitong uri ng pagamutan.” (ai/mtvn)
