SOUND ANTI-CRIMINALITY DRIVE IN DAVAO REGION NETS MWP, HIGH-VALUE DRUG SUSPECT

MANILA — The Police Regional Office 11 posted two major accomplishments on Saturday, August 13.

The first of which was the apprehension of a most wanted person (MWP) at the regional level.

It was past 2 p.m. when the Intelligence/Warrant Personnel of Provincial Intelligence Unit, RIU7-Metro Cebu CIT, CIDG-ODS, CIDG RFU7 CIU, Mandaue CPO Police Station 6 trooped to Kibuaya, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur to arrest the suspect.

By virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder and Murder, authorities arrested a certain Ramil Pucot.

Few hours later, another anti-criminality operation was launched by the Davao Del Norte Police Provincial Office, DNPPO-PIU, Tagum City Police Station, DNPPO-PDEU and PDEA Region 11.

A high-value individual who was believed to be a drug den maintainer was apprehended, PNP Chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said.

The drug suspect was identified as a certain Edgar Alfonso Jr., a food delivery rider.

Along with him were two other arrested cohorts: Aldrin Sanico Nuñez, 33, and Ramil Roy Monteroso, 26.

During the search, illegal drugs with an estimated value of P88,400 were discovered.

“Working for the good of the country—this is how our personnel are dedicating themselves to solving criminality with an intensive approach of running after criminals,” Azurin said.
