Distribution of DSWD educational cash assistance resumes in a more systematic, orderly fashion

In contrast to last Saturday’s chaotic scene where scores sustained injuries, the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s educational cash assistance distribution resumed this Saturday (27 August 2022) in a more systematic, and orderly fashion.

Featured images here show and bespeaks in thousand words of a more “civilized” manner collecting cash assistance by recipients at the DSWD office in Gastambide, Manila.

DSWD chief Erwin Tulfo said the amounts of assistance are as follows: P1,000 for elementary students, P2,000 for junior high school students, P3,000 for senior high school students, and P4,000 for college students or those taking vocational courses. (Kiara Lauren Ibanez/BC/ai/mtvn)
