CEBU CITY — With the easing of face mask-wearing, Cebuanos and tourists can now say “Thank God It’s Friday” (TGIF) with the return of the night market starting on Friday at the country’s oldest street Colon here.
Delicious foods and people from all walks of life are expected to swarm Colon Street in downtown anew.
Colon is the oldest and shortest national road in the Philippines.
The return of the night market in the Queen City of the South is part of the City Government’s celebration of tourism month.
Organizers revealed that 370 stalls will be set up outside the Iconique Mall all the way to the obelisk, offering dry goods and food products every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on Sept. 16-19, Sept. 23-25, and Sept. 30-Oct. 2. (ai/mtvn)
