Zubiri suspends session on Monday due to typhoon Karding

MANILA — Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri suspended the session on Monday due to Typhoon Karding.

“In view of the approaching Super Typhoon Karding, which is forecast to traverse Central Luzon this evening through tomorrow morning and projected to bring heavy to torrential rains over Metro Manila and surrounding areas until tomorrow afternoon, Senate President Juan Miguel F. Zubiri has declared the suspension of work,” he said in an advisory.

The session will resume on Tuesday, September 27 at 3:00 pm.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has raised signal no. 3 in Metro Manila and neighboring areas of Southern and Central Luzon. (ai/mtvn)
