MANILA — Authorities in Butuan City successfully arrested a wanted rebel personality on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Operatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police arrested the lady suspect by virtue of Warrants of Arrest for Murder, Frustrated Murder, and Attempted Murder.

The court orders were issued by Judge Lilibeth Ladaga of RTC, Branch 28, Lianga, Surigao del Sur for the Murder charge and Judge Fernand Fudalan of RTC, Branch 7, Bayugan City for the crime of Attempted Murder against Magadan Bebilina, a communist terror group suspect and alleged member of SRDG/Medical/PI under SYP21A SRC Westland, NEMRC (CTG Priority Target/PSR Listed).

“Kaligtasan mo, sagot ko — This mantra has moved every personnel in this organization to step up to the challenge of ensuring that the community can be free of wanted persons who should be facing their cases in the courts of justice. We want to live and move around freely without any fear of a possible threat to security,” PNP Chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said. (ai/mtvn)
