MANILA — The selected young swimmers of the Swimming League Philippines (SLP) will be given the opportunity to express their excitement for the upcoming international competition in Thursday’s session (Sept. 29) of the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports, Inc. (TOPS) ‘Usapang Sports’ at Behrouz Restaurant, 50 Sct. Tobias, in Timog Quezon City.
Consist of 13 athletes, including four girls coming from various SLP-affiliated swimming clubs, the Pilippine team will compete in the Hamilton Aquatics Short Course in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from October 22 to 23, 2022.
The SLP-Philippine Team that will compete against locals and foreign squads at the Hamada Swimming Center includes Julia Ysabelle Basa, 15, and Behrouz Mohammad Mojdeh, 11, of the Paranaque Swim Squad; Kathryn Leigh P. Kier, 10; Hanna Mikaela P. Lim, 13, and Patricia Celine A. De Chavez, 17.
Also included are Kristian Yugo Cabana, 12; Louis Andrei P. Lim 12; Charles Matthew J. De Luna, 13; Lyld Wynn O. Robles, 14; Davidmorvyn L. Gillego, 12 ; Master Charles S. Janda, 13; Andrea Kenjie Samontanes, 13; and Jarold Kesley R. Camique, 14.
They will be guided by officials led by Team Manager Leticia S. Basa; Assistant Coach Christine Keith De Luna and Head Coach Bryan Estipona in the TOPS program sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Games and Amusements Board (GAB), Pagcor and Behrouz Restaurant.
