Oil firms rollback prices again

MANILA — Another good news broke on Monday with the announcement of oil companies that they will again roll back their pump prices this week.

Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Shell, and PetroGazz advised the public that on Tuesday, October 4, they will cut diesel prices by P0.45 per liter and gasoline by 0.40 per liter.

At the same time, Shell and Seaoil also said they will reduce kerosene prices by P0.85 per liter.

To recall, oil firms reduced the prices of gasoline by P1.65 per liter, diesel by P1.25 per liter, and kerosene by P1.35 per liter last week.

The Department of Energy (DOE) noted that since the start of the year 2022, there have been increases of P14.85 per liter for gasoline, P29.40 for diesel, and P24.10 for kerosene. (ai/mtvn)
