Lacuna, Nieto lead lighting ceremony of Lubiran Street

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto led the lighting ceremony Thursday night of Lubiran Street together with District Six Councilors Philip Lacuna, Lou Veloso, Fog Abante, Caloy Castañeda, and Congressman Benny Abante.
According to City Electrician Engr. Randy Sadac, the stretch of Lubiran Street from Bacood Park to Bacood Street, is now well-lighted with 48 lamp posts equipped with 200W LED lights. The seal of Manila can also be seen at the base of each lamp post.

Lacuna stated in her speech that since the area is frequently traversed by trucks at nighttime, the city government provided sustainable lights for the protection of its citizens living and passing by the area.
