LandBank warns public to be vigilant against online scams

MANILA — The Landbank of the Philippines today (Monday, 24 Oct 2022) issued a warning to the public reminding everyone to be vigilant against online scams that are currently circulating on Facebook.

The government bank said that they are not offering government financial aid in exchange for likes or personal information, or through online surveys.

These scams are NOT connected with LANDBANK or its subsidiaries, a press statement coming from the bank said.

Landbank added that the public should be wary of fake Facebook accounts announcing their upcoming 60th Anniversary and posing as the official LANDBANK Facebook Pages.

“NEVER share your bank account details, Online Passwords, One-Time Passwords (OTPs), and other sensitive information. Be on the guard and DO NOT engage with these fraudsters to avoid scams and security threats,” Landbank further emphasized.

All information related to LANDBANK and its upcoming 60th Anniversary will only be posted only on its official social media channels and website the bank added.
“If you encounter any of these scams, we encourage you to report this immediately to our LANDBANK Customer Care Hotline through the following numbers and email account – ☎ Call: (02) 8-405-7000 or 1-800-10-405-7000 (PLDT Domestic Toll-Free Number) or Email:,” the LandBank said.
