MANILA — All units of the Bureau of Fire Protection, including its elite force, the Special Rescue Force, and the Emergency Medical Service are now working together to recover victims of Typhoon Paeng in Maguindanao.
A total of 67 dead bodies were recovered believed to be drowned after being swept away by raging floodwaters or being hit by debris-filled mudslides in three towns in Maguindanao.

Rescue operations by BFP continue despite of the bad weather, hoping to find residents that are still alive in some of the barangays that were covered with mudslides. (ai/mtvn)
