MANILA — Senator Sonny Angara immediately provided assistance to areas ravaged by typhoon Paeng, particularly in the provinces of Zamboanga, Cotabato, Aklan, Maguindanao, and Capiz.

Staff and personnel from the office of Sen. Angara led the distribution of food packs and other relief goods for some towns in the aforementioned provinces.

In Zamboanga City, Angara’s office delivered over 2,000 food packs and bottled water for the towns of Sta. Maria, Pasonanca and Tumaga.

Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe joined the distribution of relief goods to the affected families, most of whom are still in evacuation centers because their homes were destroyed by the typhoon.

Angara also provided aid such as food packs in Capiz, Maguindanao, Aklan, and Cotabato City.
