MANILA — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has vowed to provide aid in Antique which also sustained the wrath of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng.

“Pagka mayroong ganitong bagyo at may mga naging biktima ay alam namin ang mga pangyayari at ginagawa po namin lahat,” Marcos said in his speech on Tuesday as he visited the province.

Marcos added that he saw the extent of the typhoon’s damage after the aerial inspection conducted today.

Over a thousand beneficiaries from different municipalities in Antique received financial aid worth P5,000 each from the government.

Also included in the relief aid are food packages and hygiene kits for typhoon victims. (ai/mtvn)
