MANILA — A team of law enforcers from the Philippine National Police Region 7 seized more than one (1) kilogram of illegal drugs and arrested six drug suspects, two of whom were identified as high-value individuals in a single-day bust in Cebu City.
PRO7 Director Police Brigadier General Roderick Augustus Alba said the drugs were seized in a single-day bust as a result of the tireless work and commitment of the Bisdak cops for the safety of the Central Visayas community.
He identified the suspects as Joselito Ebrada Tabalino, 38; Charles Joem Salazar Bacalla, 28; Danny Lepiten Montemor, 19; Maximo Bulala Montemor Jr, 33; and Raymundo Aliño Olaso, a.k.a Dodong, 28; and Glanes Augusto, 26.
They were arrested at around 8:30 PM.
Citing the report of the Regional Public Drug Enforcement Unit 7, four of the drug suspects were arrested at Sitio Eskwelahan, Barangay Buhisan, Cebu City on November 24.
The operation netted 700 grams of shabu worth P4,760,000. Confiscated from the suspects were the buy-bust money, a digital weighing scale, two Yamaha Mio 125 motorcycle without plate numbers, two sling bags, and a plastic pack labeled with “GUANYINWANG.”
The two high-value individuals (HVIs) were nabbed in another operation set in motion by joint police operatives of the City Intelligence Unit and Police Station 6 of the Cebu City Police Office and arrested high-value individuals with 405 grams of shabu valued at P2,754,000.
The HVIs on the regional level were identified as Olaso, and Augusto. Both are residents of 112k Spolarium Street, Brgy. Dojo Fatima, Cebu City.
The two drug operations had an estimated total haul of 1,105 grams worth P7,514,000.
