MANILA — The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said on Saturday that it will conduct a review on the wages of government employees next year.

Earlier, groups protested calling for a P33,000 minimum salary of government employees amid the high prices of basic commodities.

In accordance with Republic Act 11466, also known as Wage Standardization Law V, the DBM had stated that the final phase of the revision to the salary schedule for civilian employees will be implemented in 2023.
