MANILA — The lower chamber will begin on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 the investigation related to a technical glitch at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after the flight of approximately 65,000 passengers was canceled or delayed.
The investigation will be headed by House Committee on Transportation Rizal Rep. Romeo Acop.
San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan Rep. Florida “Rida” Robes said that the investigation must be able to identify the exact cause of the embarassing New Year’s day incident (January 1, 2023).
Robes added that the country’s main gateway to the world should have been prepared for the huge influx of people coming in and out for the holidays.
“Yung force majeure, hindi po ako naniniwala doon, there should always be a backup,” the lawmaker added.
