MANILA – Foodpanda, an online food and grocery platform, will serve as official partner of the National Basketball Association (NBA) 3X Philippines scheduled next month.
The 3-on-3 competition presented by Mountain Dew will feature men’s and women’s teams and NBA entertainment. Foodpanda’s tie-up with NBA Philippines was launched over the weekend at the Mall of Asia Music Hall.
This year, Foodpanda will have a presence in select NBA broadcasts across TV5 and One Sports through virtual signage on the court and launch promotions that will give Foodpanda users in the country a chance to win NBA prizes.
“We’re proud to welcome Foodpanda, a leader in the food delivery service industry in the Philippines, to the NBA family,” said NBA Philippines senior director of global marketing partnership Mae Dichupa in a statement released to the media on Monday.
“This partnership presents an exciting opportunity to engage a new audience in Foodpanda’s avid subscribers and collaborate on promotions that will bring the NBA experience closer to our passionate fans across the country,” she added.
NBA Asia director of global marketing partnership Hubert Lim, Foodpanda Philippines head of strategic partnerships Amer Bakshi and integrated marketing communications head Lorelei Olalia also attended the launching. (PNA)
